Kenneth Miles | hallelspa

Kenneth Miles spends a lot of time assisting and mentoring student-athletes at Louisiana State University. Since 2011, he has served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Executive Director for Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes. Miles acts as a positive role model for the student athletes on LSU’s campus.

Miles draws his inspiration from the staggering social inequalities around him. Instead of accepting these injustices, he chooses to actively promote the ideals he supports.

“I figure in order to be able to make some changes, I’ve got to get pretty active,” Miles said.

The driving force behind Miles’ character is his mother. Without her emphasis on education, Miles would not have accomplished the impressive feats he has. His mother engendered a passion for uplifting those around him at any chance he gets.

“I recognize the plan is bigger than I,” said Miles.
